All cakes are freshly baked for each commission using the finest ingredients and traditional baking methods. The three most popular choices are rich fruit cake, velvety Belgium chocolate cake and Carol’s famous vanilla sponge. Other flavours include coffee, carrot, cherry, lemon, coconut or anything else that you might require. It is perfectly possible to use different cakes - one tier fruit, another chocolate and one plain for example.

The most popular fillings are chocolate or vanilla buttercream with the chocolate cake and vanilla buttercream and strawberry preserve with the sponge cake but the choice is yours. Other suggestions include white and milk chocolate buttercream, coffee buttercream, chunky chocolate chip buttercreams and  strawberry, raspberry lemon or cherry preserves.
